This is one of my dearest friends, Christy! It's her Birthday today and I'm celebrating the gift she is in my life and everyone she knows life. To be honest, I've been super sad this week thinking about not spending her birthday with her for the first time in 6 years. She moved to Pennsylvania recently with her cute family and I'm so happy for her, but really sad for me. đWe've lived basically across the street or several blocks away for the past 6 years. She's been the best friend, neighbor, and sister I could ask for. She's been one of the biggest voices of truth in my life. She was the one to tell me the truth to break off a not so good relationship I was in, she was one of the first to truly rejoice when she met Caleb and had our back 100% seeing what a great match we were, she was one of my biggest supporters during my grandpas death, she was one of the two maid of honors in my wedding. She's one of the very few people in my life that always has my back and truly wants the best for me without a bit of jealously. We rejoice together, we mourn together. I'm a different and much better person now for knowing her. Out of all our talks together I've never heard her say a bad thing or gossip about anyone. I knew she would always talk well of me even when I wasn't around because that is her character. It has changed the way I think and interact with the people in my life. To be real about what's happening, but then pray for the situation or person that has hurt me and not gossip about them or bad talk them. She's taught me to be more kind and compassionate and see the best in others. She's taught me more about the love of God and holding onto the truth of the gospel. She is the kindest person I've ever met, and this girl is 100% real. I hope and pray I can keep learning to be as kind and compassionate as this dear friend. She's now making the best mommy and praying so many blessings for her and her wonderful husband and family today and everyday. Happy Birthday Christy!
