Sometimes it’s the little things that mean the most, you know what I mean? Sorry if this post is too real, but we like to keep it as honest as possible. _____ If you’ve heard anything about our January, you know it’s been a bit rough in our lives lately. With everything going on it’s put a lot of stress on our marriage. At times I’ve wanted to fight Caleb, instead of the problems. One of the days that was the worst after finding out really sad news for us we took out our pain on each other. We sometimes can say the meanest things to the people we’re closest too when under very sad/frustrating conditions. Doesn’t make it right, but just keeping it real. _____ Later that night, Caleb grabbed my nail kit and a wash bin filled with warm water, and washed my feet and painted my toe nails and finger nails. I’ve gone less than a hand full of times to get my nails done in the last 10 years and it felt so nice to get pampered in this way. _____ It was several weeks ago now, but I still remember it and smile. Even though it felt like the world was crashing in on us, Caleb still found a way to make me feel loved. After almost 5 years of marriage, I’m so thankful to go through life with this one.
