When I asked J and Mondo a little bit more about how they met, all our eyes quickly filled with tears. J called her fiancé, Mondo her angel sent from God. This couples light-hearted, joy-filled, fun personalities, looks of love at each other, love for Jesus, each other and others was so evident in our time together. We knew right away what a blast it would be to spend the next couple hours capturing their adorableness around Pasadena, and then up in the mountains.
God didn’t disappoint as our time ended with a perfect sunset with newly bright green grass (from the rains several days early) and pretty yellow flowers filled the mountain. Sweet kisses on the check, and laughter filling the air.
Mondo shared that 5 years ago after his mother passed away and he took over full custody of his sister with down syndrome, he knew it would take a very special woman to enter into his life. J or (Jahayra) is such a blessing to the family and fixes Mondo’s sister’s hair much to her delight.
We left the evening filled with renewed hope that selfless love in action can bring. Praying so many blessings on this beautiful couple and can’t wait to shoot their wedding in June.
