What do you love to do for rest and relaxation? This past summer Stefanie and I had the opportunity to drive down to San Diego at mission bay for a conference I had to attend for work. We both were unsure about how the experience would go, but once we walked into our hotel room we knew it was going to be a great weekend. We had a room on the beach, with a great view of the bay. That trip turned out to be the perfect dose of rest and relaxation for us. We got to spend time on the beach, went paddle boarding, visited sea world, and went for long walks on the beach. đThis is a picture that we took while we were there. I seriously cannot get enough of this woman. I enjoyed so much getting to spend more quality time together on this trip. One of the things I love about my wife is the level of excitement that overcomes her when something happens that is unexpected and awesome. She gets a huge smile on her face and often does a happy dance commemorating the experience. I will never forget the moment we walked out on our own beach and how much joy overtook her in that moment. It's times like those that bring so much happiness to my life. When I see that woman happy, there is a sense of victory and satisfaction that I get, I feel as if my purpose has been met in that moment. I live to make that woman happy and this trip will always serve as a great reminder of the great times of joy that we get to experience together.
