WHAT WAS YOUR DREAM CHRISTMAS PRESENT? đ Almost everyone has THAT thing which they always wanted for Christmas. Something they asked for and they kept asking and asking and asking. Only to never get it, or receive it after years of begging. For me, it was Jordanâs or an XBOX, and even a self-pumped basketball one year. đ For Stefanie, it was always a puppy. She asked her parents for years if she could get it. And it never worked out. She asked for it year after year since she was five years old, always the first thing at the top of her Christmas list. She had been asking me since we have been married if it could ever work out, and we just couldnât quite make it happen. đ I had always had a dog growing up and had a deep love for the two that I did have. But ever since they had passed I havenât had one to call my own. I always loved having a dog, they are so cute and loyal. Truly mans/womanâs best friend. So I wasnât opposed to the idea, I just wanted the timing and ultimately the dog to be the right fit. âïž And by the grace of God, after 30 years of her waiting and five years of marriage, I decided it was time to get Stefanie her first dog for Christmas.Â

đ You should have seen the look on Stefanieâs face when we picked her up. All the years of disappointment all torn away in a moment of complete joy. There is nothing in the world that brings me more happiness than seeing that look on Stefanieâs face.Â
đ And as she broke down crying on our way home because she was so happy, I just thought to myself, wow that was definitely worth it. She blessed me (and God blessed me) so much in that moment with her. A moment Iâll never forget!!Â
